Bachelor of Science (BSc.) Degree in Computer Science

Recruitment to study on the BSc. in Computer Science can be achieved in two ways:

  1. Government Entrance Examination
          (The number of students admitted per year is 50)

  2. Entrance Examination by the department of computer science following the special project
          (The number of student admitted per year is 80)

The Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Science was approved by the council of Khon Kaen University to admit students on to special projects in 1997. The objective of this project is to provide an education in computing and will also increase the number of computer scientists available to serve the needs of human resources in the government and private sectors within Thailand

The special project self-manages the revenue and expenditure under the responsibility of the Department of Computer Science. Students who are admitted to this project have to study following the curriculum as equal as the normal program.


Application to the Special Project will be processed by the department.

Duration of application:

2 February – 11 April of every year

Qualification of applicants:

Applicants have to finish their education in Mathayom Suksa 6 and pass the government entrance examination with passing scores in four subjects: Mathematics I, Chemistry, Physics and English.

The number of students admitted per year:

50-80


Curriculum in Computer Science

For a B.Sc. in Computer Science, students are required to complete at least 128 credits.
